Date someone special from Alabama, United States. Drawing in deep breathes of fresh air, I tried to push the fears from my mind and calm my racing heart. I had spent the last hour listening to safety instructions and signing one consent form after another. Practicing the correct departure position with my instructor several times, I mentally prepared myself for the coming jump. But now, as I stood on the edge of the plane looking down at the landscape ten thousand feet below, it was all too real. Summoning all of my courage, I managed to forget about the trepidation in my stomach long enough to steal one last fleeting look at the passing white clouds. I focused on the humming of the engine beneath my seat and the rushing of wind through the door of the small aircraft. As the instructor counted down from three, I knew this was the perfect way to end the summer. We threw our bodies into the sky, and fell.
Like a sailor drawn to sea, I have been searching for something just on the edge of the horizon my entire life. I am on my way to a successful career, I have amazing friends, and I have a wonderful and supportive family. Now is the time to find a man I can share an amazing life with. I am looking for someone I can have some fun with! I am a girl who likes hiking, canoe/rafting trips and camping too. I like wearing ripped jeans and a soft flannel shirt w/ my hair in a ponytail..but I also enjoy getting dressed up for something special. I can sometimes come across as a little quiet at first...I am really not. I don't mind spending time at home. I am always working on some project at my house.. to get it just how I want it. I am about to learn how to do a tile backsplash in the kitchen and acid wash my garage. If the garage turns out ok...I might do the porches :) I would LOVE to get an old house and work on it a little bit at a time. I would probably need some help with that undertaking! I am always taking pictures. People tell me all the time I was born at the wrong time or that I'm an "old soul"...I guess that's alright. I am just a happy, content, easy going person... Always trying to look for the good in people and things. I try to eat well and take care of myself. I have an herb and vegetable garden that I enjoy digging around in. I am learning to use the fresh herbs in my cooking........I love last minute road trips and going to concerts. Music festivals are great too! I enjoy the beach and get to go a good bit.
I enjoy my job....most days. It can sometimes be pretty stressful but it is very rewarding. I just work 3 days a week now and I LOVE that!

I particularly enjoy seeing the ocean and walking the beach. Mountains aren't too bad either. I am currently taking golf lessons and loving it.
