As a practitioner, I believe in nurturing 'the power of choice' to help people build autonomy, confidence, self-esteem and self-efficacy. Many problems in relationships start with one person trying to control the other or by one not honoring/respecting the others autonomy. For both people in a relationship to be truly healthy and happy they need to support and allow each other to make their own choices.
As a teacher, I use a Socratic teaching style with a modified mastery and discovery learning approach. So I have planned to have little structure to my teaching because I think that it is better for students in the long-run. To me it is more important how people think and make decision than just knowing the information. My main goal in teaching is to help enlighten and inspire others to choose to give their best for themselves - not the teacher or other outside influences. I do my best to encourage people to think and act for themselves and for the good of others. I have the most fun teaching Sport and Performance Psychology - or how to think in ways that give people better chances to be happy and successful.

I suppose it's just that in this twisted and decadent modern world, a good woman is hard to find. My shyness doesn't really help either. Once my initial shell of shyness is cracked, I open up pretty good though. When you break it down, I think everybody is shy is some way. It's all about this conditioned, social anxiety we've developed as a result of this fear-based, culture we live in; a socially engineered symptom under the heels of this subtle, scientific dictatorship . I could go on for a while about that one, but I'll leave it at that for now...
