MUSIC: My tastes in music vary wildly. Right now I'm really into Mumford & Sons and Ray LaMontagne. I like everything from old school MC Hammer to the Black Keys to David Bowie. There's not much I don't like, except boring country or obnoxious rap. I get a kick out of zydeco, and smooth jazz like Billie Holiday soothes my soul. I like Iron & Wine, Tom Waits, the Beatles, Nirvana, Indigo Girls, Johnny Cash, Tori Amos, The Doors, Flogging Molly.
To get me started on food is to delve into dangerous territory. I am a pretty picky eater (that may be putting it mildly), but I REALLY love the foods I do eat. I'm definitely a foodie. Chocolate, tiramisu, nearly anything Italian, fajitas, fresh local sweet strawberries, or just a good tender grilled steak. And BBQ!

I grew up with two brothers so I enjoy things like watching football and hiking and I’m pretty low maintenance. I am a hard worker and I’m strong willed. I'm a rookie dog owner. I got my first dog 11 months ago and I do everything I can with her from dog agility to "pawsitive" therapy in nursing homes.
