I'm originally from Idaho, but moved down to the southeast three years ago for a job that I love. It meant moving around every couple of months (living out of my car) and having to work extra hard to maintain friendships - and impossible to date. This spring I took a position that has allowed me to move permanently to Alabama and have a 'normal' life so I'm pretty excited to put down some roots and meet new people.
While I don't want to find someone who is EXACTLY like me (I don't want to date myself!), I'd like to meet someone who shares some interests. I'm pretty outdoorsy and though my heart lies in the snowy mountains of skiing and snowshoeing, I could hike, camp, and paddle a kayak or canoe all day.
