I moved to Birmingham from Atlanta where I attended portfolio school. Before that, I graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Psychology and Advertising.
Now instead of studying for huge psych tests, my days consist of squeezing every creative drop out of my body for ads. I work at an advertising agency in the city and, so far, I'm loving every minute of it.
I'm in advertising, so a big part of my job is staying up-to-date on everything. I am constantly reading blogs, articles, looking at design images, and keeping up with all the different types of social media. It is essential for me to know how they all work in order to integrate them into the media I use for campaigns.
This also means that I spend a lot of my time online. I'm trying to tear myself away from that a bit, since I spend most of my day at work on the computer, so I would love to get into more activities outside of work that get me outdoors and immersed in nature or local culture. It's all about experiencing as much as I can in order to be able to speak to a larger diversity of people.
