Date people from Alabama, United States. Looking for someone to settle down with and grow old together. Someone whom doesn't mind doing a little cooking. I enjoy spending most time at home just relaxing. I''m kinda quiet and probably kinda boring, but I do enjoy a good laugh.
Meet a man from Alabama, United States. I was married for 10 years, until a divorce this past November.I am somewhat shy, but become much more open after I get to know someone.
I have the capacity to fall deeply in love, if I develope a close relationshipwith someone. I'm not a cheat or a player.I am a very loyal and commited person. I have a good sense of humor, I think; it can verge on out right goofy, or be dry. At times I can become quite quiet, with not much to say. Other times I can become quite talkative....Wish I was more consistant there.
Looking for a down to earth lady, that likes the outdoors and nature. Likes to go out on the town, to do things. but can be just as happy staying home, getting cozy around the fireplace, watching a movie or plaing a game.
I'm not much of a sports guy. I know thats unusual for a guy. I grew up near St.Louis Mo. I was a follower of the Cardinals and Blues hockey. And then a Marlins fan in florida. But since I moved here; I all but lost interest in sports. Only watch the superbowl.
"Razorback fans are clicking off this page now"! :-)
You can be someone just looking for a friend whom shares some of your interest, if my looks don't appeal to you. Or if I'm not your type, for a relationship.
Being a transplant, I don't know many people here. And the hours and type of job I have; It makes it that much harder to socialize, and meet people. So I can do with more friends.
But I am altimately hopeing to find someone for an eventual commited relationship.
Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I am enjoying this stage in my life. My children are becoming less dependent and I am finding a little more time for myself and some fun. I love to travel and think it is most important to find a partner with whom you enjoy spending time. Stimulating conversation, similar interests, and mutual respect are key elements in the relationship for which I am looking.
As I mentioned, I do still have 2 teenagers at home. Though they don't require my presence 24/7,due to the great support system we have, they are very much part of the package. I am really enjoying participating in their lives and watching as they grow into very unique individuals. I am not looking for a father for them, but someone who would accept them and the importance they have in my life. A man of good character that they also could respect and look up to. I don't want to wish these years away, but am looking toward that empty nest and the freedom that will offer.
I am active, health conscious and looking for my 50s to be the best years of my life (seriously!) I have recently rekindled the love I have for riding bikes (without a motor). I have people to ride with, so that's not an interest necessary to a relationship. But it would be a nice bonus if they also enjoyed riding. I am open to trying new things, as I am still discovering who I am. I don't think I would ever skydive, but it's okay if you do :)
I don't date just for fun, though I do like to have fun. If I don't think there is potential for a relationship, I won't continue to waste your time or mine. I don't need someone just to buy dinner. I have a nice career of 27 yrs, a stable job, my own home, and am not looking for someone to take care of me. Nor am I looking to take care of someone. A partnership would be ideal.
I am honest and direct (not rude) when needed. I don't like game players. I am not easily played, just don't care for it. Do unto others....well I'm sure you know the rest.
I am fairly old-fashioned in my feelings about gender roles. I do like to cook and am pretty good at it, I'm told. I have enjoyed hunting and fishing and would go again, with the right person. My feelings on most things are that with the right company, almost anything could be a good time. It doesn't always have to be what I want to do. I enjoy a lot of things so am pretty sure that we could find common ground.
