I was honorably discharged from the Army in December, and moved out to Ft. Collins with a friend, to start school. Colorado is beautiful, and after being here for only 2 months I can understand why people don't leave. There are a thousand things I want to get out and do, but of course am limited by getting situated, and starting my first semester. I'm a completely independent person, and more or less because of the Army, very mature. Although independent, I would love to find someone to journey through life with. I've grown weary of online dating, but it just seems to be one of the only places remaining that you can find genuine people. Ergo, I'm here.
So generally at my age, and ages right above or below me you find that the majority of people are finishing college. The majority of people want their "match" to be somewhat equivalent in their achievements, which seems to be a problem seeing as I'm just starting. I would hope someone might understand that after spending 4 years in the military, and experiencing quite a lot that I'm obviously behind on my education. I'm very motivated, and thus school is simply my next objective. I wouldn't want someone to look past me only because of this, which is why I'm explaining. Everyone goes through life at a different pace.
