I am a well tuned guy who enjoys life and the conversation company of women (more than men). I don’t have a list of drinking buddies that I watch (and drink) all games with every weekend; only a few I see occasionally. I’ve been a volunteer in Little League, Scouting, Odyssey of the Mind, and the Jeffco Westernaires. When living in North Dakota, I “adopted” a cerebral palsy girl from the Ft Totten Reservation for a year while she was in rehab in Grand Forks. I regularly visit with a disabled veteran in Arvada to take him to a meal just give him some time outside his place. It’s all part of “SHEMA”, our church’s adopted motto of giving back, “Loving God-Loving Others”. I’m not a religious wacko, so don’t stop reading here. I just have a faith that I am a continuing work in progress with. If we have dinner I’ll hold your hands and offer a prayer of thanks…just like Denzel in the movie “The Book of Eli”. I don’t bow my head or close my eyes though; I want to see my God cauz he’s everywhere.
Many profiles wear me out reading what's crowded into free time. For those of us in our own company or working for someone else (I do both), find our free time filled with relaxation at home for dinner or occasionally out to a local restaurant, feeding our pets, doing some housework, sittling at the computer for a bit, then quiet time reading and listening to music...plus those after work activities that I limit to (2) each week. Never been a world traveler, but have been in 48 states and Canada. I love wilderness adventure and like to test the limits at times. On my “bucket list”: finding a grizzly bear in the wild…but being well prepared for the experience. Like to come along??
