Meet men and women from Denver, United States. Since I just got back on here after a hiatus, I figured I should probably update a few things, although most of it remains true and therefore untouched.
I’m pretty laid back, which sometimes comes across as quiet and reserved at first. But once you get to know me, you’ll discover my dry sarcasm and willingness to laugh at myself. I love sports. I can get sucked into a college basketball game regardless of what teams are playing (especially my alma maters, Kansas and Denver). I also like spending summer evenings watching the Rockies at Coors Field. I enjoy running a lot, and I’ve run several marathons. Hey, it's a great way to see a place, or at least 26.2 miles of it.
For some reason I can't explain, I have not gone up to the mountains much in recent summers, but I’m hoping to take advantage of the great hiking around Colorado again this summer. That said, I also like staying low key sometimes, watching a movie or hanging around a patio with friends.
I’m looking for someone who can make me laugh, make me think and introduce me to new experiences, including (and maybe especially) those outside my comfort zone. I would like someone who shares interests with me, but I also love to learn and try new things. I want someone to travel with, whether it’s across the state or across the ocean.
A few random facts about me (or perhaps they’re quirks): I’m a sucker for a woman whose smile is more noticeable than her makeup. It pains me to use emoticons or exclamation points (although I’m not adamantly against others using them in moderation). I use the dryer when I need an iron. I have an irrational fear of mascots that aren’t wearing the head of the costume (I see this far too often because of my job). I didn’t even consider taking and posting a picture of myself posing in front of the mirror (judging from profiles I’ve read, other people think that’s a good idea). I still have no idea what Glee is, and for some reason that ignorance still makes me happy. I’m originally from the Midwest, which means (among other things) I have a good work ethic, my grade school had as many tornado drills as fire drills, I give a simple “thank you” wave to any driver who lets me merge into their lane, and I prefer ranch dressing over mayo on a sandwich. I see the glass as half full but in need of a refill. Many of my closest friends are women (platonic relationships are indeed possible and should be encouraged more than they are). My favorite holiday is the first day of March Madness. I often notice and point out the absurdities in life (and there seem to be a lot of them). I’ve been bungee jumping and skydiving, even though I’m scared of heights. I love lazy Sunday mornings, cooking breakfast and reading the newspaper.
Date people from Denver, United States. i work monday to friday and enjoy my weekend....enjoy spending time with my family and hanging with my dog...looking for someone to hang and watch movies and sports.....go hiking and likes to cook and try new foods!
Meet a soulmate from Denver, United States. Give me a ticket anywhere anytime and I'm ready to go.
I just moved to Denver after living in the Middle East (Tripoli, Libya & Dubai, UAE) with work for the past 2 years. I grew up in Texas and also lived in Boston for 6 years. I'm really enjoying Denver so far. The people are amongst the nicest I've met anywhere. I travel 7-10 days per month and when I'm in town, my job, which I love, keeps me busy during the week. On weekends I play soccer, volunteer and explore new restaurants around Denver - Olinger, Tag and Root Down are my favorites so far. I travel internationally every chance I get. I'm an explorer at heart and enjoy going anywhere. The more exotic the location the more excited I get.
It would be nice to make some new friends in the city; if it goes further, even better!
Date single man from Colorado, United States. I'm a recent transplant to Denver and I'm loving it so far. I'm an open-minded person who likes to experience new things, see new places, and enjoy what life has to offer. I'm laid-back and very easy going. I enjoy the outdoors, culture, art, traveling, and reading. I enjoy going out to see movies and live music. I also like going for walks and bike rides around town, hiking, backpacking, and skiing.
Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. Well, i just graduated from college with my masters, and I'm looking to spend some of my newly acquired free time with someone special!
I like to ski, snowboard, jog, work out, go to coffee shops, restaurants, clubs/bars, travel, live music, etc.
I really enjoy people who can introduce me to new things, so if you're adventurous, I'd love to join the adventure!
Date a man from Colorado, United States. And by frog...I mean if the right girl kisses me, I'll turn into the most perfect version of a prince you've ever encountered. But it has to be the right girl....or I'll be saying "ribbit, ribbit" forever.
I've been in Colorado a little over a decade, and it's been the best time of my life. I love Denver and most of the rest of the state, it's a perfect mix of beauty and fun. I love my job, but I love doing other things even more. In the summer I enjoy hitting balls...of the golf and tennis variety. In the winter I play basketball and love to pretend I'm a decent snowboarder. The whole year I actually enjoy going to the gym and working out....mainly so I can partake in one of my other loves...food. I love going out to dinner and am trying to learn more about the wonderful world of wine. If you've never been to a concert at Red Rocks, we may not get along...it's one of my favorite places to go in the summer. Any concert really, as I love live music.
I'm always looking to add to my favorite things to do list....my bucket list is long. I hope you have one too. If you can help me cross something off mine, you'll get a gold star for the day!!
I've been blessed with the best set of parents a guy could have and wonderful friends. Nothing is more important to me in life than the great people in it. I do have a few openings though, and I'd love to add to this select group.
Who are you?? I'm not really sure, since we haven't met yet...but I'll try to describe you. You must smile a lot. You must be a genuinely good person and treat others right. You must take care of your body and your mind, by staying physically active and continually challenging your mind. You have to be smart enough to challenge me, and soft enough to melt my heart. We'll need to become best friends first....after that, we'll see.
"Nothing ventured, nothing gained" That's going to be my attitude with this crazy website, which matches my attitude about life. You have to take risks in life to get where you want to go. I'm looking forward to hearing from you....I hope we might become best friends.

Meet men and women from Colorado, United States. Soooo...what does one say about themselves and what they are looking for. Assuming that the obvious is out there and understood ie. honest, trustworthy, real, drama free you know the standard. Sure I fit all of those requirements, but me in a nutshell..well I'm your atypical smartarse. I love having a good time, laughing, and having others enjoying life around me. I have been down plenty of life's roads and the lesson I learned along that journey is to enjoy what you got, and live in the present. Of course plan for things but don't forget to live in the now. Sarcasm is a must, I can take a good joke as well as deliver one. My passion is helping people. I do it for a living and it is a mainstay in my life and persona. The quote I live by is "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".
I'm looking for someone who enjoys their life and wants to explore new things. Lack of a sense of humor need not apply. Life is not meant to be taken so darn serious. Meeting people in general is one of my favorite pastimes. That along with traveling have to rank pretty high on the "fav-o-meter".
Date people from Colorado, United States. I am a Chicago transplant that discovered Colorado 14 years ago, and I've been loving it ever since. I enjoy living in Denver and spending time at my place in the mountains. I definitely take advantage of the many opportunities that our area has to offer (hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, random road trips, etc.), but don't make any of them my single focus. I like to think I am well-balanced! One can often find me in some exotic country, visiting out-of-state friends/family, or doing volunteer work (hey... anything for the kids).
Things that are important to me:
You (savvy profile viewer)...well, let's first see where dinner goes!
Travel: Exit row kind of guy. I travel all over the US and internationally - just can't get enough cabin pressure! Getting out of dodge keeps me sane, learning and gaining a new perspective.
Family: They are a fun bunch, and you can find us laughing a ton when we're together. Fun Fact: I'm a Twin.
Art: I have collected some awesome and unique pieces during my travels.
Live Music: Who doesn't love live music? I can honestly say that I have never seen a bad live show. I don't play any instruments, I only play the radio!
Volunteering: I have a strong connection to helping others and have started my own non-profit to take it to a new level.
A well-laid plan and spontaneity: So I like lists... obviously. Now, who's down for a weekend adventure?
I am loyal, interested in learning new things, passionate about my passions, crazy and a bit random, a planner without a cause, introverted on Sunday and extroverted on Monday, confident and always looking for my next challenge or recovering from a new adventure.
Let's go sign up for a cooking class. I promise not to run with sharp objects!
Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Best match story ever? My sister lives in Denver. Love her. Until she was featured as my Daily match for about 2 weeks. Simply awesome. Imagine me getting an email everyday that says my sister is an ideal match. You might therefore understand why I don't put a terrible amount of faith in this place. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Unless you end up dating your sister, in which case one should seek serious help.
So, as for someone I would actually enjoy getting to know: I would think she is wonderfully intelligent, well versed in conversation, eloquent in demeanor, graceful in presence and an all around goofball. I believe contradictions create character and are indicative of one's ability to adapt to and enjoy the life they live.
I love to travel, and my work has me going around the world. I really enjoy learning new cultural nuances. People in general crack me up, but also intrigue me.
I like to cook a lot, and I've studied wine both as a hobby and professionally (but no- not as a pretentious prick). I love greyhounds, and have worked with their adoption for a long time, so please forgive a picture or two of them dogs.
Cheers-
