I love Colorado, especially the mountains; I like hiking, day trips to Evergreen or Breckenridge, or weekend getaways to a Bed-n-Breakfast or mountain cabin. I have a Jeep and love to go 4wheeling and dabbling in photography, especially around Ouray and Telluride (I know some great ghost towns.) But I'm also OK in the city, and I clean up pretty well. I like a good museum, a good restaurant, live music and CSO concerts. Downtown is OK, but not all the time. I'm not a globe trotter, but I do like to travel. I go to Las Vegas every spring to escape the cold of winter (no, I don't gamble) because it's warm and there are lots of things to do there. I probably know the city as well as some of the locals. One of my dreams is to cruise the Inside Passage to Alaska, then go on to the interior (Fairbanks and Denali National Park.) I want to see a giant Grizzly up close, but not too close!! I would go to Hawaii if I could go with the right person. I have no burning desire to see Europe, but I'm willing to let you change my mind. One of my more offbeat dreams is to visit the many Auto museums around the US, like the Corvette Museum and the Auburn/Cord/Deusenberg Museum. I would also love to drive the historic parts of Route 66.

In the summer months when I'm not working, you will always find me outdoors somewhere. It could be hiking a mountain trail, fly fishing one of Colorados' rivers, a walk around a lake, rollerblading, or even just flying a kite. Camping out- Not so much. I enjoy travel and typically head for someplace with a lot of water and nice beaches. Hawaii and Tahiti are at the top of my list for 2012. I also love the Pacific Northwest and never pass up an opportunity to travel there when circumstances are favorable. My schedule gives me a great deal of flexibility, so anything from three days to three weeks is a possibility.
