I prefer a jersey on my back, a racket in my hand or standing in the middle of a stream but there is a time for elegance as well.
I’d best be described as a person with almost limitless energy, once depicted as a bee in a jar, born to be on the run. Hopefully after all these years I don’t bump up against the lid as often. I am an incurable romantic,feel blessed to have that quality and I'm fiercely loyal to those closest to me. Keeping fit and trim is very high on my list but not too obsession. One of my passions is tennis and most days you’ll find me on the court or wishing to be. The outdoors is the canvas upon which I paint. Whether it be fishing the gorgeous trout streams of the most beautiful state in the Union, gazing out over the valleys from atop one of our “14 ers”, hiking the wildflower trails of June, cruising amongst our beautiful colors of Fall or picking up myself out of a snow fallen wipe out, I love to be out in the elements. I spend quite a bit of time gardening and keeping my home beautiful.
I wake up each and every morning with the promise that today will top yesterday, yet with the full realization that might be a bit optimistic. I am very pragmatic, know my strengths and weaknesses, been around the block a few times so that I am rarely taken by surprise. But when my partner does amaze me, that is what memories are made of.
My wish list for a partner would for her to have a similar outlook on life, physical well-being, a wonderful sense of humor and smiles come readily. I would hope that one of her yearnings would be that she loves and appreciates being treated like a woman. Whether it be opening doors, being treated with kindness, craving intimacy or being respected for all the qualities she possess, these come naturally to her. I believe the age of Chivalry is still alive and well, just a bit hidden.
