I've recently learned than I'm allergic to dairy products. So I drink almond milk. I miss cheese and ice cream, but these are two of the things that caused me to gain weight in the 1st place. Now I enjoy more fresh foods and vegetables and find they taste better than junk food. Other than being overweight, working full-time, and getting my house cleaned up to rent it, I seem to be what most men say they want - happy, honest, kind, intelligent, affectionate, accepting (and quite discerning), definitely NOT bossy.
Like to travel. Actually lose weight when I travel - maybe because I'm relaxed and enjoying life. I've learned how to relax, let go of worries, and enjoy a vacation.
My interests change from time to time. Currently, I'm interested in brain physiology, ancient history (the older, the better) and nutrition (food as medicine, related to the brain physiology).

My cultural values are mid-western Christian, but my religion is more like Buddhism. I'd love to find someone to do a daily MEDITATION with me.

I've been working in the same business for 30 years. I'm responsible and NOT "flighty". My one child (a son) is grown, has a masters degree, a great job, lovely wife and a delightful 6-year-old daughter. I don't get to see the daughter (my granddaughter) as much as I would like, but when we do get together we enjoy talking, laughing, telling stories, playing and doing a bit of gardening. My son was one of those people who were born wise. He has always given me good advice.

Hello there, I have been a widow for eight years and have not really had time for dating....However I think the time is right to consider who I want to spend the rest of my life with. I am very much involved in Christian music with two cd's under my belt..I also teach piano, piano improv, organ, voice and I am a professonal harpist. It keeps me busy and has been a big part of my life for most of my life. My father was a Pastor, and it was a wonderful life being a P.K.(preacher's kid).
