Recently gave away 17,000 of possessions and art in a Native American traditional give-away and feel so much lighter and freer for having done that. Now I am writing a book on how a person can arrive at a place in their life where such an act seems necessary for mental and spiritual health. I live on little and with little and like it. I do not own a car or much of anything else and have few investments any more either. .
Political leanings are a good way to determine compatability. I am Left of Obama - more of a Ralph Nader fan. I was a huge Barach Obama fan and worked for his election. Now I am disappointed that he did not do something about jobs the first few months in office. When people critisize Obama, I shudder to think of what John McCain and Sarah Palin would have done in his place. Or put another way, I am not remotely a right wing conservative Republican. That said, I have to also say that I am as disgusted with politics as usual as I am likely to get.....
