Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. First, I never thought I would be on one of these dating sites but with my career and being a single mother it's really hard to meet people-So...here I am! I'll give it a go!
I was born and raised in south Louisiana and moved to Scottsdale 12 years ago to raise my two children, now ages 13 and 10. I come from a large family, I'm number 7 of 9. After raising 9 children, my parents are still together and celebrating 55 years of marriage. I'm sure they weren't all blissful years but nonetheless still together. ;-)
Raised with good morals and values, I consider myself to be genuine, honest, giving, compassionate, down to earth, personable, and funny. Caring, spontaneous, always looking out for others, far from boring, a class act but can have a crazy side as well is how my friends would describe me. I'm not afraid to throw my hair back in a ponytail, a matter of fact, its what I do most days! ;-)

I'm passionate about many things, but raising my two children I would have to say ranks highest on my list. I thrive on their happiness and knowing I'm doing my absolute best to give them the tools they need to become intelligent, caring, honest, and independent adults in this crazy, ever changing world we live. The children are with me 50% of the time.
I love people who smile and people that make me smile! Being happy and having fun is good for the soul and key for any relationship. Lazy nights snuggling on the sofa watching a movie after cooking dinner makes me happy. And I'm a pretty good cook (From Louisiana, remember?) I love the beach, boating, horseback riding, parties of any kind, sports bars to watch a game, live music, comedy, and passionate moments anytime!
A romantic trip for me would be somewhere in the mountains log cabin, wood burning fire, bear rug, big pillows, wine, and the man of my dreams! Did I mention snow for skiing? ;) Some places I've enjoyed, Maui, Beijing, Shanghai, Bahamas, Cabo, and Puerta Vallarta, San Francisco, Laguna Beach.
I believe you get in a relationship what you put in to it. Little acts of kindness, always being there for one another, laughing and being silly, touch and communication all the time of any kind is what makes a relationship strong. I often trade my fine threads and weekday comforts for cutoffs and roughing it on the weekends. I am hardworking (in corporate operations), hardplaying, spontaneous, fun, outgoing and I can be both sexy and sometimes downright dorky! I can bait a hook, pitch a tent and climb a mountain… but I can also rock a hot pair of heels and show my curves in a pencil skirt. The quick and easy way to my heart is to always make me feel special and important. I love hiking, photography, running, working out, reading, movies and a little pampering - hopefully by someone meeting the following description. But really I am willing to try just about anything as long as it doesn’t void my life insurance policy or potentially land me in jail! I say bring it on! I'm pretty much trying to live day by day to the fullest. Enjoying my highly stressful job that I love. My company recently moved me from LA back to Mesa AZ where I was born and raised. I am very close to my two sisters and my two boys, 20 and 22 yr old boys and they are the reason I moved back to AZ. Nothing more important than family. It has been an adventure and I am blessed to have such a great group of family and friends that support and love me unconditionally.

I have a 15 year old son that moved with me here and my best friend who is also my room mate. I was in the Upper Management of Social Services field for over 20 years working with adults with disabilities and also did interpreting for the deaf, after a life altering event i decided there was more to life than just money and working all the time. . Hi! I love to explore new little out of the way places or a backyard bbq is fun as well if you are with the right company. Hole in the wall restaurants, dive bars, or sports bars, out of the way towns...any place that is new is exciting! Chemistry is a must have! I'm most comfortable in jeans and tank tops and flip flops...I always said I wanted to live somewhere where I could wear flip flops year 'round! I work out 5 days a week, sometimes more if I hike on the weekend or run a race, I would like to meet someone that also has a passion for fitness. It would be great to have a partner to run all the races (the races 8k and under, I'm not a marathon runner) in the Phoenix area with in the "cooler" months and hike some of the peaks that I haven't gotten to yet! ! I'm easy going, funny, positive, dependable, independent, a great listener and am just plain bored with the same old thing. I have a 16 year old daughter, no idea where the time went! Friends and family are very important to me. My daughter and my sister are my best friends, family comes first. Family and friends should be equally imortant to you! I'm an early riser, 7 days a week...I lost that ability to sleep in about 16 years ago apparently, if you are someone that sleeps until noon, we probably aren't a good match, I would rather get up early and get the "chores" done so I can go do whatever adventure/experience awaits me.
