Communication is essential for me. There is what is said in addition to the unspoken experience. In this case, I am bi-lingual. ;) I do not know how you may feel, however, for me, at this juncture of life, "settling" seems irrational. Consequently, I am open to that authentic connection between two people where just being together enhances their quality of the moment.
Speaking for my own experience, sometimes, being single feels like finding that "golden needle" in the hay stack. Yet, when you feel that needle pierce your heart, nothing else will do.

. My friends think I'm smart, fascinating, and interesting. I think I'm just regular like most everybody! I do happen to love listening to what people have to say that says something about them. And this is enjoyable out to lunch! But I'm also a romantic, compassionate, loving, and silly-crazy over the right guy.
I really love to listen to jazz and 60's music, as well as Classical music (I've got that Music degree). I love to travel and already know Western Europe pretty well. Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, and Eastern Europe fascinate me but these faraway lands at another time, another era. I've lived in eight states in the U.S. but haven't seen all the small towns and historic places I'd like to see here. And I really love Arizona -- but where it's cooler mostly.
I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, and boating. And would love some lessons in golf one of these days since I'm so hooked on it on TV. Quite a fascinating game for one I thought would put me to sleep watching! Anyone for Augusta and the Masters? And I love to just watch certain sports that someone I know might be playing in. Tennis, anyone?
I love gardens. Now, if I could just figure out EXACTLY which items these cute little creatures around where I live are NOT interested in consuming - - what a garden I'd have!
. Life is good. I have so many things to be grateful for... two wonderful grown children, a great job and a lovely home in Sedona. I'm approaching retirement, I mean "redirection" and am looking forward to what life has in store. I have so many things I want to do when I have more time to play. I enjoy cooking, movies, live theatre, dining, hiking, traveling, coffee with the paper in the morning, racquetball, pool, and an occasional fine wine or a cold beer. I like to laugh, dance while I'm cooking and cuddle on the couch. I am passionate about family and friends, my work, and not letting life get stale.
I'm looking for someone who is emotionally and financially stable, honest, reasonably fit, and considerate of others. Someone who enjoys exploring new places, appreciates my cooking (: and likes doing stuff around the house.
I'm in a great place in my life and I look forward to sharing good times with someone special.
