I used to have a Wish List but apart from wanting a smart, strong woman that likes to exercise and eat and drink, I'm after the intangible. Do you know what makes a woman sexy? When she can just let go, give in and be herself. When a woman feels free to be comfortable in her own skin she is so amazingly attractive....show me that woman.
Disclaimer: I like to cook so if you dont workout almost daily then you're just going to get fat. I'm trending towards a more towards organic/vegetarian fare lately but I still appreciate a great cheeseburger. I'm at the gym at least 3 days a week. I swim, bike and hike at least once a week each as well. Nothing competitive at the moment but I'm interested in adventure racing if you've ever heard of that.

I come from a good family and as much as I enjoy all types of people, I'm looking for a partner who loves somewhat of an active life. Don't get me wrong, busy bodies are a turn off when they cant be quiet and just lay by the pool or relax on the couch for a night ; ) I’m a simple man and an old soul of sorts so sometimes I am happy with those days where you just relax and “live”. You know, something fun in the morning followed by a coffee trip to the farmers market, afternoon siesta because we got up so early, later put on some music and start cooking, break open the wine. Friends over for the night or just the two of us. With the right atmosphere and company, home can be as good a place as any.
I do have one request... You should be you beach-able. and no, I'm not alluding to being a whale : ) To explain, family is important to me, so much that I moved here in '06 to be closer to them. Though small, our annual family reunions are a laid back week spent at a beach house off the coast of North Carolina. It's nothing more than the surf, sand, drinks and food. Think you can make it through a week of that with my family and come out happier on the other end?

I’ve had love and lost it. I’ve had money and lost it. Lesson was that nothing else matters if you don’t enjoy who you are first. Life has gotten the better of me before and I know enough about it to not expect that I will never be thrown a curveball again. However, and make sure that you hear me now; I’m not going to turn into a serial killer or ask for your heart then cheat on you or kick your cat. I will occasionally say the wrong thing at the wrong time and that’s ok. I’m going to make choices that may either seem wrong or prove to actually be wrong and that’s ok. I’m fallible and that’s ok. I am a good man with a good heart.
