My social life isn't what it was in my high school and college years. I devote alot of time to my business and bettering myself. I have discovered my calling/gift/blessing/whatever you want to call it. From a young age I wanted to run a moderately successful business. I thought it would take decades just to figure out step one. Apparently not for me. An idea I had when I was 16 paved a path that gave me control of the reigns to my life, business and way I think. Seven years later and I'm finally getting to say I told you so to many of the doubters. Of course, it wasn't all smooth sailing. At one point I developed a painkiller and Xanax addiction. I understand that last sentence may be a deal breaking, but I wanted all the genuine women out there to see my vulnerable side. I will never expect you to be perfect of flawless, I just ask for the same in return.
I have snowboarded and played guitar (acoustic) since I was 5. Those are two things I couldn't live without.
When it comes to relationships I'm not controlling but I am protective. I have no problem with you hugging or even occasionally flirting in a friendly way. Although, if another guy makes you uncomfortable or puts his hands on you in the wrong way, he better be prepared to fight (and lose) or apologize to you. If I were asked "who wears the pants in my relationships", I'd respond: I prefer us to each share one leg of the pant. I just don't like creating drama. So, if you really want to do it your way, we will. Although, if I really want to do it my way, we will. I'm not expecting to find my future wife on this site. To be honest, since this is my first time trying one of these sites, if I just have a fun date with someone and make a new friend, I'll consider it worthwhile.

I have always been drawn to medicine even at a young age, and I volunteer my time as an Emergency Medical Technician, riding on ambulances. One of the most rewarding moments was when I came upon a trauma call, It was a multi-car pile up. It's so different walking around the chaos and being so close to it. We came upon a man that was laying supine on the ground. My team and I immediately rushed to his aid, we quickly stabilized his neck and spine by adhering him to a back board. We transported him to the ambulance and made our way to the hospital. While en-route to the hospital the man went into cardiac arrest. My partner and I started CPR on him and continued it all the way to the hospital. Upon arriving the paramedic quickly informed the doctor of everything that had happened, while we took the man to the trauma room. I continued CPR until an ER nurse took my spot and we quickly left to go back to the accident and transport two more non critical patients. I never saw this man again; however about a week down the road I visited the same hospital while transporting a seizure patient. I asked the Trauma Doctor what had happened to the man. The Doctor got quite for a second and got a serious look on his face. My heart immediately sank and I felt myself look towards the floor and let out a sigh; however, when I looked back up the Doctor was smiling. Apparently this Doctor absent to my knowledge enjoys messing with new EMTs like myself. He informed me that the man lived, and that he had two boys and was married. I helped to give him another chance with his family, a chance he might not of had otherwise. I helped two boys grow up with a father and made it possible for a wife to hold her husband again. These are the moments that make me love medicine, and why I plan to always be a part of it. This is the way that I have chosen to make the world just a little bit better.
Who I'm looking for: I am looking for someone that I can grow and laugh with. Life is to short to spend it with someone that you can't laugh with. I feel like so many conversations just breach the surface and I want something more than that. I want to be able to sit down over a cup of coffee and have a conversation that is both emotionally and intellectually stimulating.
