I just survived (but rather enjoyed) living in a very remote national park for the last 5 years (I am not a Forest Ranger) so I am loving being back in the green, green California foothills. I love the beauty of this planet and all its occupants (mostly) and our country's history. I'm native Californian and especially love the rich history of the mother lode area (all of the historic communities along 49) , the Sierras. I love the tropics, as well.
I am an avid reader, I am an amateur antiques buff; vintage is good! I like seeing movies occasionally, live theatre periodically and I also really like live music of the rock or blues variety once in a while - since I have been culturally deprived for a few years.
I love my family very much, value and guard my friendships. I have a little Westie, Lucy, who is a classically terrier funny. I grew up with horses and still enjoy riding although I haven't done much riding of late; it's a great way to take in your surroundings.
I am not necessarily looking for a committed relationship, rather someone who enjoys similar activities and would enjoy the company. Then ...take it from there!
