I work in digital media and public relations, and my hours are fairly long. My job and my kids are my life. There isn't a lot of time for dating, but I'm willing to try to fit it in. To be honest, I dread dating again. All the rules, games and etiquette tend to get in the way of having an honest experience. It's not unlike government red tape getting in the way of progress.
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that my kids come first. Period. If you have kids, it's my belief that you should have the same outlook.

I love the outdoors, including hiking, swimming, boating, camping, travelling, BBQ's, snowboarding, rafting...you name it, I'll probably be up for it. I want to learn to play tennis, golf, and piano, actually. I have a piano and I know how to play but I am not good. I enjoy things that involve the arts (especially dance and band), history, museums, aviation, plants, animals, and culture. I love going out and doing interesting things and I like someone who enjoys doing the same. I consider myself to be a loyal person and a true friend. I am a good listener, I remember small things intentionally and I do small things all the time for people I care about. I value family and friends, and love to spend time with mine. I'm close with both of my parents and my bro is my best friend. I do have a bit of a hyper side of me when I get excited, and I'm amused by the smallest things. :) I also have a quiet side to me - I guess it just depends on the situation! I do love kicking back with a bowl of fruit and a good book from time to time.
In another person, I like an extrovert who still doesn't mind kicking back sometimes for a blockbuster night. I do not tolerate people who are phony or fake, and I do not like liars. I want someone who is strong, cheerful, witty, and has high ethics and strong morals. I am strongly attracted to people who are open and treat others with respect. :) A sense of humor is an absolute must because I love to laugh and I love making others laugh even more. I like people who are motivated, who have direction and who are confident and intelligent, and those who are close with their family and friends. I basically want someone who wants to share experiences, and not just coexist. I want someone who can pamper me and who I can pamper back! I want someone who can be there for me and someone who I can be there for as well. I want to be able to share experiences with somebody, but I still want for each of us to have our own life as well. I am very affectionate if you let me be, but I'm turned off by clingy people and I don't like people hovering over my shoulder. I am the best, best friend to have if you allow me to be myself.
