I'm 100% Irish...born and bred. Lived there for 30 years and I've been pretty much traveling with work and college (went back to business school after 15 years away from studying...great fun!!) since I left. Lived in Eastern Europe and the Middle East mainly with a lot of travel in between.
I'm always up for hoping in the car or getting on a plane to somewhere new though I must admit, the past year has been a little too much so I'm glad to be settling in one place for a while...but who knows, it might be worth staying put! That all depends on whether or not it's worth staying put for something!
My family, though living miles apart is very important to me. My sisters in Ireland and my brother on the east coast remain in close contact so we always know what's going on. Thank god for social media as it makes staying in touch so much easier.
I'm a spontaneous guy and up for a challenge (has gotten me into some funny situations over the years but where would we be if we didn't have stories to tell). Life for me is about having fun and that can range from a movie at home with a nice meal to jetsetting half way accross the world...I'm good with either if the company is right! :) I work hard though have had the opportunity to take long periods of time off to enjoy myself. The last "break" was 2 years, though I did go back to school during that time so it wasn't ALL a vacation!
I'm not your typical guy who is into watching hours of sports and screaming at the TV. I'd rather get outside, got to the pool, hop in the car or watch a good movie (something that gets the mind dreaming).
I love hearing people laughing and find humour in everyday things. My mother used to say "If you can laugh at yourself you'll be forever amused" so I really take that on board and dont take myself too seriously (most of the time anyway)...is that why people always laugh at me?? lol
I put my heart into everything I do and get quite passionate about things. I do enjoy getting the blood pumping!
