I'm from the East coast, but have been here in the desert for six years, and it's been a blast. I have a great job, great friends, and an awesome cat. I love my life, and now that I'm phasing out of the bar and club scene and I'm looking for the right girl to share it with. Someone who shares my core values - I'm basically a hybrid of a responsible adult when I need to be, and a kid at heart when I relax. I came from a rough upbringing, worked hard, and made something of myself, and it taught me not to take life too seriously and to appreciate everything that I have. I'm proud of where I've gotten, but I'm humble because I remember where I started.
I love meeting new people and genuinely enjoy others' company, and it has always been a priority to me that they enjoy mine. Nothing feels better to me than to laugh and make others laugh. I want people that meet me to walk away thinking "Wow, what a cool guy!", and I think that's usually the case. I'm very passionate about growing as a person, and improving in some way every day. A lot of my hobbies are rooted in that. Health and fitness is something I'm very serious about. I'm in the gym almost daily, and follow a regimented diet. Ideally, I'd like to find someone to be active with, but it's not an absolute must.
I do loosen things up a bit on the weekends to pursue my other big interest - finding cool new restaurants and bars (very into speakeasies right now, let me know if you know of any cool ones). I'm also an amateur mixologist, so when I find a cool drink, I try to re-create it at home. I also like to teach myself new things - I'm trying to learn Italian right now.
I got a taste for travel a couple of years ago with a trip through Central Europe (Vienna and Prague were absolutely beautiful!) and I'm getting ready to do a lot more. I'm planning a long trip spanning as much of Europe as I can this summer. Give me a heads up if you have a suggestion for somewhere I shouldn't miss.

I work in the medical field, in the emergency room. Some days I love my job and some days are kind of hard. You learn to deal with a lot of things that "normal" people don't have to. Working with people in crisis, you also tend to reflect and find out what's really important in life. I'm waiting to get in nursing school (almost there) and eventually plan on being a ER/Trauma/Flight RN.
Some things I like: camping, fishing, live music, festivals of any kind, road trips, rides to no where in particular on my motorcycle, karaoke, lazy sundays with football and movies, classic car shows, a book that I can't put down and that moment when you realize that there's no place you'd rather be than where you are at that very second.
