The two things I will say about me is 1) I don't like having my picture taken and 2) I never know what I should write about myself that would make me stand out to you. Now I'm wishing I would have takien that creative writing class in college to think of something funny to write about. But honestly, I am someone who enjoyes having fun and spending time with good friends.

Ok... here it goes!
I'm a single dad of two teenage kids.
I work as a project manager in the banking industry.
When I have free time I like spending it outdoors, when the weather allows of course.
When I go out, typically it's with some friends or family. We usually hang out together chat and laugh for a few hours usually eating a great dinner out/in somewhere.
Right now in my life I'm looking for something real, a substantive relationship. With who, that is yet to been seen.
Don't get me wrong as just having a great time with someone special is not bad thing at all, but I would really like to make that great thing something more.
Here's where I'm at. I've reached the point in my life where things are good, but really lacking that vital spark. It's time for me to change that. I look forward to finding the right person and I know you're out there!
Fortunately or unfortunately (depends on your view of things) I work from home and hardly ever get out anymore to meet folks. Other than working, I keep fairly busy with as many old and new activities as I can fit into my spare time.
Now that the kids are older, this means most of these new activities are yet to be explored. More time for myself has left an open spot, which I would like to fill. Yes, 'me' time is very important, but to say 'our' time would be something I would like very much.
Now, I'm not changing my life, I'm just changing how I want to continue to 'live' it.

Here are some things you may not want to know about me: I enjoy reading tech manuals, listen to every kind of music if it is performed live, enjoy going to the opera, plays, sporting events, and Vegas. Grew up wanting to be a Dad. My kids think I am funny even though I am not; Amazing the influence one has over the people they raise. Like visiting the beach but would never want to live there. Sand gets everywhere!!
I have lived in Phoenix metro area for just about my entire adult life. I like it here but am open to moving once my youngest moves out. That will be May 2017.
I work for a communications company. Been there a longtime and like what I do. I do travel and like to explore when I do. Wouldn't mind a partner in crime (it never hurts to have 2 sets of prints on a crowbar).
As far as what I'm looking for, I will not bore you with an endless checklist of unrealistic expectations. I know what I want and I will recognize it when I see it. But here are some things that might give you an idea: you know what makes you smile, are quick-witted, driven, passionate about something or if you can know what I am thinking...mind reading amazes me! Here are some things that will not impress me: putting someone down makes you smile, trying to change me, disrespect my family or friends, litter bugs, you are wanting to escape a bad relationship by being on here.
