It has been a bittersweet adventure but I am now very settled in my new home and feeling comfortable with my decision to have moved to the Southwest. I laugh easily, love people, I take pride in my appearance and exercise at the gym several times each week as time allows. I'm happy with my life and it shows in my attitude and my smile. Love my Pittsburgh Steelers, music from rock and roll to classical, hiking in the mountains, playing bridge, traveling and getting my feet wet in the ocean Tia Rosa and Sophia's are two of my favorite restaurants. My family, 4 wonderful children and four grandchildren, are scattered throughout the United States. That is the one thing that I wish that I could change. As often as we try to get together the time spent with one another is never long enough. We'll rent a beach house on the ocean at Duck N.C. for a week this summer and it will be a great time. I'm the eldest of 6 children and grew up and spent most of my life is a little town in Southwest Pennsylvania called Beaver, population 5,200. It is a beautiful little town that reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. It will always be home.
My main interest is painting. I have been taking classes for 8 years and I've taught art to the homeless children in Phoenix through the Save the Family Foundation and volunteered at the Phoenix Art Museum.

I enjoy a wide range of music from the oldies to classical. Italian food is my favorite, but I thrive on experiencing new foods and places. Would love to explore the old mining towns, Flagstaff (it reminds me of Bend, Oregon) and other Arizona sights. The majority of my travel experiences have been necessitated by work or family.
