I grew up in California and loved it but just got sick of the rat race out there and decided to move. I like going out to bars and having a good time with friends but I'm not really the type who goes to a bar looking to meet women. Some of the things I really enjoy doing in my spare time are playing musical instruments and cooking. I'm not saying I'm any good at it, I just enjoy it!!! I would like to meet someone who is confident, intelligent, quirky, and not afraid to be unique.

I spend most of my time working like most people. When I'm not working I spend my time hiking, playing guitar, golfing, cooking, swimming, or reading. My best friend and companion is my 2 year old chocolate lab "Wendy". She's been with me through some pretty tough times and I can't imagine my life without her. I find that as I get older my priorities and interests have changed. I don't drink anymore and don't go to clubs/bars. It's tired. I'd much rather stay at home with some good food, a good movie, and some good company. I'm a morning person which is rare I know. I like seeing the sunrise (not every day) and being grateful to be alive. Laughter is the best medicine and you can't take things too seriously. I have a dry "smart-ass" sense of humor, I like stand-up comedy and most kinds of music. I tend to make fun of myself and the stupid things I do more than anything.
I don't expect anyone to be perfect. Imperfections can be just as attractive. I usually know right away if I like someone or not. Intelligent, active/athletic, outgoing women are most attractive. If you're goofy or dorky it doesn't hurt. I just want someone who is easy-going, kind and happy. I want someone easily entertained and who has fun no matter what she's doing. Sometimes a trip to the store can be just as much fun as a big night out.

I have old fashion values when it comes to dating and relationships. I am young at heart and feel that life is too short to take anything too serious. I would like to meet someone that is playful and a little sassy.. I can be sarcastic at times but it's just my sense of humor.. I love to make the person I'm with smile, nothing better to make a beautiful woman smile... I do like public affection, its a huge plus!

I know what i want in life and want someone to share those things with. I have a love/hate relationship with working out, being fit and healthy is my goal is to always make myself better. I push myself to improve my mile time and total distance with every run. I've set my goal of running at least 1 5k this year and finish with a respectable time. I've set my goal and daily, weekly targets. Knowing that I have to work hard to reach them. As every time I reach a goal I have set I see that I can do more faster and longer. And so I push myself that much more.

I love to be outdoors, roll a coasters, snowboarding, camping. I've still have to get to Africa and Antarctica to set foot on all seven continents, but I will get to them and want some one else who wants to join my on my travels.
