In Nov, 2009 I moved to the Anchorage area to be closer to my children and grandchildren. Having family nearby is great, and interacting with the next generations is a reward I would not want to miss. At the same time, I am enjoying building friendships with others in my own generation. I find the people here so friendly, and love their willingness to share Alaska through their own eyes.
I love to travel and explore new areas. I spend as much of the year as I like enjoying Alaska, and the balance of the year visiting friends and family and enjoying various parts of the US. I have traveled on my own at various times and find it has its own rewards. But it is so much better as a team. How about you?
