Meet someone special from United States. Ok so I am trying this again, not really sure what to put on here. I am a normal person, well as normal as you can get without being weird. I just moved back to Alaska after being in Washington for a few years. I was suckered into moving to Valdez by my son and my sister. Actually I really do love it here, and I have a great job at the hospital, it is just a little hard to meet people in Podunk, AK. I am a single mom to an amazing little boy who is my life! I am an Administrative Assistant working in the healthcare system as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I am not looking for anyone to take care of me, just someone to share my life with and all the adventures that come with it. I find myself to be pretty dang funny, I am almost positive everyone else does too! :) I look for humor in my partner, I find it sexy, and it saves my sanity!
My favorite food is tacos. I still have my tonsils, but not my wisdom teeth. I hate spiders, but love snakes. I hate tomatos. I live on Diet Mt Dew. I love to cook, I make a rockin lasagna if I do say so myself!
Something interesting about me, I am absolutely terrified to drive!!! I didn't get my driver's license until I was 26 yrs old. I was a single mom with a brand new baby and the bus just wasn't doing it for me so I faced my greatest fear and got my license!! Why am I telling you this? I also live in a small town with a smallish social circle. Hot tubing, a glass of wine and the northern lights seems like a lovely way to end the day, but so does snuggling in front of a warm fire on a snowy night after playing all day:) Yes, I still love to play...my newest thing is kayaking and while I am not all that good at it I love puttering around lakes, communing with Loons and otters and keeping an eye out for the occasional bear. Durning the winter I have been trying my hand at snowshoeing, and am attempting to learn to cross country ski from a few of the neighborhood kiddos who take great delight when I fall:) I would love to learn to horse ride but would never want the work associated of owning the horse. Free spirited and soaring along, when I rollerblade I always picture pair of mischiveious wings on my back as I glide along, or enjoying simple pleasures of life like fresh air, hiking rain or shine with my dog can. It can sooo make my day! Having someone who is patient, humorous, and likes to be active & curious about life, and have their own focus is compatible. Patience is important because I need help with interpreting humor & I love to laugh, but miss the jokes often.
Family is very important and this is influenced strongly by my Chinese culture. Enjoy easygoing & positive people, potlucks & game nights with good friends, and also need contemplative time. I am grateful that my work is meaningful & I love its intensity and its lessons of humility and compassion.

Thinking of others rather than yourself is an attractive quality. I am ambitious but not to the point where I will step on someone else to get where I want to go. I like ambition in others and my pet peeve is lazy people. I do not have a lot of patience with this type of character. There are a lot of things we can be doing and contributing and being lazy is not a part of my life (tho I don't object to a picnic on any kind of a day, just sitting back, enjoying the food and wine and enjoying nature - this isn't laziness, its appreciation of our surroundings and the company we are with).....there's more but I don't have the space to write it!
