My friends say I'm a smart guy, but work too much. I agree with the work part. The smart part I don't know. I'd like to think so, but I spend to much time proving that I'm not it seems..
My proudest accomplishment? I have been able to work my way up the corporate ladder, and remodel my house, while going to school to get my engineering degree, with good grades. I know alot of other people have done it, but I'm still proud of it.
I don't do much on the weekdays, owrk and school. On the weekends I usually work around the house, I will hit the river in the Kayak and do a little fishing. Go out to eat now and again. I volunteer with the MS Society and county organizations several times a year, so I look forward to those. They keep you busy and let you do a good thing for others.
I will go out and play on my tractor from time to time. I do have some bushhogging I need to do now thats for sure.
I am looking for a nice person that I could spend the rest of my life with. I would like a responsible, caring, concientious person. I want someone to be my partner, not my boss, or my servant, but a teammate I want to work through life with. Experience tells me that you can't say I want this or that because the one you love is the one you love. I know I would like a nice person, so I'll let it go with that. Reading through this, I think I need someone who wont get too excited over a misspelled word.........
I like comedy. I tend to be a joker. A slow joker. I start out shy but then get warmed up. I like a joke though. Clean, dirty, you name it. My audience used to prefer a dirty joke, so I know lots of those. I'm having to learn some clean ones though. I don't do physical humor. Not going to trip you or put signs on your back. Generally the tell a funny story kind of thing. I'm not above poking fun at myself either if it will get a laugh.
To get a sense of my comedy, I love the Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes, Bertie and Wooster, Monty Python, Mitch Hedberg, Jerry Clower, and on and on.
What am I passionate about. Hmmm. Passion is a strong word. I am passionate about wood working. No fasteners is a sign of perfection.
I am passionate about responsibility. I dislike an irresponsible person. I am passionate about my family.
I am passionate about reading. I love the escapism of a book. I read about everything, mystery, science fiction, history. I can talk books and authors thats for sure.
I would like to find a woman I could be passionate about. But then again, don't all guys say that. I'm not referring to the physical passion, but the emotional, romantic type of passion. The one that makes your heart bip when she calls, or brings the smile when you hand her flowers and she likes them. Can you tell I read too much?
I have lived all over the country, and am a yankee at heart, although all of my family and ancestors are southerners. Alabamians at that. I believe Alabama is now home, although I love the west. The desert is the best I think. I do like to get out of the state now and then just to clear the head though. I've got to travel at least once a year to hear a different accent.
Although I am a yankee, I'm not a city slicker. Not a red neck or a country boy. But not a city slicker.
