A bit about me: I’m an adventurer, a hard worker, a gentleman, a Father of three boys, and a Grandfather. My boys are all adults, and provide for themselves. I’m so proud of them.
My work keeps me away from home during the week, but usually only a few hours away. Weekends I can be found working around my house, boating, or spending time with family and friends. I enjoy weekend trips to the beach, or mountains, along with several State Parks that are close by. I have been known to make spur of the moment trips to places far far away. And some not so far.
I have several hobbies:
I usually have a small home project working. I have a real passion for scuba diving, just returned from the Keys in July. First trip, and it was awesome. As an experienced diver, I take at least one week a year to some exotic local to scuba dive. I have traveled to many places, and my list of future dive sites is too long to list here.
During the week I visit the gym, and enjoy buying and selling on eBay.
I have an interest in becoming a pilot this year.
While I’m very happy with my life, I do seek that special person to share life’s experiences with. To explore new places, share the places we have been, and make our own memories together. This can include trips to a new place, or cooking a dinner together. Enjoying a new restaurant, or catching a movie we both want to see. Falling asleep together after a day full of adventure, or watching the sunrise because we couldn’t sleep.

Meet a man from Pell City, United States. It's simultaneously easy and difficult to describe the way other people think of me and what I think of myself. I'm at a point in my life where I like what I like, and I am who am, to everybody, and I don't care who they are.
I'm known as a guy who is laid-back and good to people just because it's the only way I know how to be. I was raised that way. The way I see it, the good people in life are all we have to keep one another going. I not only believe in the good people of the world; I absolutely count on them.
I write a blog that I might tell you about if you act interested.
How about just some random stuff off the top of my head? I have recycled since 1990; my favorite book of the Apocrypha is Judit; years ago I spent summers working in Valdez Alaska and lived in a tent two of those summers; every year I set out 48 tomato plants and give away the tomatoes; some of the people featured in The Foxfire Book were distant kin of mine; working outside in really hot weather I can judge the onset of hyperthermia by whether or not I can mentally diagram a sentence; I have always taken a small amount of pride in the fact that not everybody gets my jokes.
My nickname is one of those jokes. Most think it's something dirty in light of me being tall...but it's really a joke about the carpet in my bedroom when I was a kid...tall shag carpet. Really!
I've not seen very many profiles here that talk about sex, and that is too bad. Anyone who says they don't like it, or don't want it, is lying. So how come hardly anybody ever talks about it?
I'll talk about it because I am not a liar, and besides, I am thinking it will ultimately make my life easier if I just talk sex here, up front.
I am not shy about wanting to pleasure and ravish the body of a woman I find beautiful for who all of who she is, in ways that will make her memories of nights spent with selfish men fade into obscurity.
But I want more. I want the woman who will give me her heart, mind and soul. I want it to the point that she becomes the woman who makes me lose interest in meeting any other women. The woman who gives me that, gets it back in return. I might not know who she is, or where she is, but I will know when I meet and get to know her.
How about I describe the seemingly-mythical woman I'd like to meet? Would like to meet a woman who could be a lot like me or a lot different than me. Looks are what gets my attention at first; intellect and spirit is what will keep it.
She'd be a woman comfortable with her lot in life, feel good mingling with others, and choose to revel in life's positives more than wallow in life's negatives.
I like a girl who's a strong woman not afraid to speak her mind, but not so tough that she doesn't show me her girly side with the full range of emotions every woman has.

I used to show them in three day events. Working on getting that part of my life back. I am a nice blend of girly girl and tom boy. Old grave yards, (are very cool). Historic towns, out of the way places are the best to explore.
I was born in Las Vegas, raised in Saudi Arabia and have since lived in GA, TN, and currently AL. Guess I am living proof, what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas.(get it? Las Vegas's slogan: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas....I was born in Vegas, but I didn't stay there? Get it?.....never mind)
I guess I'm looking for some fun, to meet someone to hang out with and enjoy time together. Just time to get back in touch with the side me that gets butterflies when he calls or texts. Someone to put a smile back in my heart.

-Hula-Hooping
-Dancing like a spaz

Here are some things I suck at:
-Folding fitted sheets
-keeping my hands to myself in stores
-fixing things around the house
-planking
-keeping track of tiny little game pieces.
-parallel parking.....IMPOSSIBLE
-sewing, unless you don't mind looking homeless ( I won't judge)
-bedazzling (I know! I'll understand if you pass on me)
-adding wire or string or whatever its called to the weed eater
-jumping fence
-completing my to do list. Most times, I just cross out the title and rename it, the should but it ain't gonna happen list
-keeping my smart mouth in check around stupid people
-deveining shrimp
-spelling Is deveining one word or two? Is it a word? Spell check is yelling at me. Maybe its de-veining?
Most of my friends would consider me funny. I can laugh at most anything especially myself. In fact I do often. There are to many things in life to NOT laugh at. For instance....,it's freaking funny when I roll my hair up in the car window. Or when we spend two hours electrifying a fence, and I'm the FIRST one to get shocked. Its funny, LIFE if funny.
