Honesty is supposed to be the best policy but considering the luck I've been having with these on-line things I'm not too sure. O.K., so here goes with my attempt to be open and honest without telling you anything that will drive you away immediately.
I'm for the most part a family oriented, square dealing, hard working guy. I want all the things that most everybody else wants; love, family, fulfilling job, enlightenment etc.
I've been single my whole life and with the exception of living in the barracks many years ago, I have always lived alone. At this point I think I'm still moderately sane but I have seen the warning signs of eventually becoming Boo Radley so maybe its time to find someone.
Right now I'm living the life of a single 38 year old, which means I spend alot of time alone because all of my friends are married or divorecd but insanely seeking another insane partner.
I work in a drug rehab and except for a few years in the Army thats pretty much the only job I've had as an adult. Its not the best job ever, but I honeslty couldn't do a normal job working around normal people. I'd be bored.
I can act like a normal person if I have to. I can hold a competent conversation about football or world history, but in truth I'm kind of a nerd. I like comics, sci-fi and horror movies, anime etc. Actually, I like alot of different things. I have a pretty good collection of Gene Kelly movies, but I also have a pretty good collection of Toshiro Mifune movies. I go to cons and dress up. Yep, I sure do.
I've tried this online thing two or three or a hundred times before with no success, but like a lemur blindly rushing to my death, the promise of love causes me to drop my hard earned cash in the hopes of finding my special someone floating in this virtual sea of single people.
