I enjoy being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, etc. I have a jeep and now that I am in Colorado am looking forward to cruising around the various mountain trails and passes. I tend towards the analytical, sometimes to my own detriment. I try to be honest and straightforward. I have on occasion been described as “too nice” and have on occasion accused of the opposite. I do not play games, nor tolerate those who do. While I am unapologetically male, I do not believe that means being unkind or unnecessarily harsh, depending on the situation. I also believe that means holding the door, paying for dinner, and being the all-around gentleman, again as the situation calls for it.
While many of my interests revolve around the outdoors I have inside hobbies as well. I play games, watch movies, work on computers, work on the jeep, read both serious works and fiction, generally whatever catches my interest at the time. I am perfectly content relaxing in the house for the day.
I have traveled all over the US and hope to someday travel throughout the world. I want to stand at the base of the Great Pyramids in Egypt, walk through the Forbidden City in China, drive through the Australian Outback, attend a show at the Sydney Opera House, to name a few. There are many more.
I am looking for someone who enjoys doing some of the same things I do, but who is her own person with her own hobbies and interests. Variety is the spice of life, so they say.
