I'm a photographer and writer, who's been a physicist, restaurant developer, community organizer, actor, singer, ski instructor (for people with disabilities), volunteer extraordinaire, and so much more. When I take off the pack and hiking boots, I look and feel just as comfortable in a tuxedo. (Best wash off the mud first.)
What am I looking for? First and foremost, someone who simply loves. Not as an ideology, but just as the best way to live. All the time. Loves the stranger in the street, the starving person in Darfur, the clerk at the store, the neighbors and co-workers, the friends and lovers they've known for years. And me. Oh, yeah, and fun seems a given. And honesty, for absolute sure. I've become completely disillusioned by dating in general, and on-line dating in particular. I believe it hurts people more than it helps them. Until we find a better way of bringing people together, I have stopped paying for a subscription to this site, and that means I can't contact you. I tried to collect on their guarantee and get an extra 6 months free, but I was told I hadn't been active enough to qualify. That's because I didn't find enough people anywhere near where I live that seemed a significant enough match to make it worth contacting them. I know, I know ... I need to move. I'm just trying to figure out where to next. Meanwhile, if you really find me worth the trouble, I still have a profile on the largest FREE dating site, and I can return messages there, if you create a free profile there. I don't know if this site will block this information, but the other site's name is based on the presumption that with so many potential partners out there, it should be possible to find ones that we want to be with. That hasn't been my experience, but if it's been yours, I'd love to hear about it.
