I'm an intelligent , quirky, sometimes sarcastic (I'm working on this!) guy that strives to be as good of a man as I possibly can. I can be really old fashioned, for example I ALWAYS open the door for women. I take relationships very seriously and want a woman that appreciates it when a man goes that extra mile to make you smile. As for the things I like to do, I love being outside, and want a partner that enjoys this as well. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and fishing are some of my favorite hobbies. I can be really outgoing, but I am also content with lazy afternoons in front of the tv. I have an extremely wide variety of interests, and am always up for trying new things!
As for things I am looking for in someone....the most important thing is that you have a kind heart. My personal life, and my career, revolves around helping others and I would like to find someone who feels as strongly about this as I do. If having a lot of money is really important to you, then I am probably not for you. I strive for success in everything I do, but the line of work I am in will not make me rich!
Where I am at in life: right now I am about to start my last year at the University of North Alabama. In Spring 2013 I will graduate with a Bachelor in Social Work, and will start school for my Masters in Social Work as soon as I graduate. I am also certified as an Addiction Professional and will be certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in a few months. I am currently working two jobs. I work with developmentally disabled adults and also teach outpatient substance abuse classes.
I love to smile, laugh, and make others smile and laugh. I want someone who is positive, and grateful for her life! I wake up happy for another day, and hope to find someone with a similar outlook. Is this you???
