I've been told that I'm too nice for my own good, and that I'm loyal to a fault. I don't see either of those as a fault, but whatever. I have a bit of a dry, sarcastic humor, though it's generally not directed at anyone I have feelings for. Now, if you're picky about a guy who's missing his teeth, or has a hairy chest, well, thanks for reading this far and I wish you the best of luck. The tooth was knocked out when I was a kid and, due to a series of unfortunate incidents, it just never got fixed. Now, I really don't care about getting it fixed. I'm fine with it and I've been told, on multiple occasions, that it gives me a "rugged charm." Also, speaking of rugged, the beard stays. I made a promise to myself when I got out of the Corps that I would always have some form of facial hair and, well, this is what works best for me. I recently stopped drinking because I'm taking steps towards making my lifestyle healthier and removing unnecessary expenditures. I don't judge anyone who does drink, or smokes pot for that matter, but I just don't imbibe any more. Also, I could really care less about sports, in general. Why spend your weekend yelling at millionaires you don't know on TV? There's so many better options than that!
Let's see, some of my life goals... Short term, within the next 5 years, I want to start getting certified as a gunsmith and eventually get an FFL(it's gun related, if you don't know). Also, I want to get custody of my kids. Long term, I want to run and own my own gun range and shop. Thanks to my time in the Marine Corps I have plenty of ideas for a really awesome gun range that people can have a blast on. Pun intended.
Anyways, a little more about me. I'm a self-described renaissance geek. No, that doesn't mean I go to those fairs, it just means I'm a pretty multi-faceted person. I like computer games, comic books, science fiction and fantasy novels, and Star Wars. Also, I like hiking, camping, shooting both my guns and my bow, and getting my truck unstuck from the mud. Thrown in there is a fondness for cooking, odd music and pool. Finally, I'm trying to teach myself to play the mandolin. Yeah, I'm a little weird, but I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd rather be weird than "normal," which doesn't really exist, and is boring.
