I graduated from Troy University with a bachelors degree in art and spent a couple of years in the army as an air defense officer. I am very proud of my service in the army and feel that in different circumstances I would have been able to progress further than I did. I was medically retired in 2008 and now spend my time trying to make my name as a freelance artist. I usually draw characters for customers online but would like to make some sort of serialized cartoon. I would love to find people to bounce ideas off of since I don't really have friends here. I am financially secure in that I am able to pay my bills and have a little fun.
I usually spend my weekends with my parents, sister and her husband, and my nephew. My father usually takes me and my brother-in-law golfing on Saturdays or Sundays and we just love it.
I am looking for someone who is pretty independent and doesn't depend on others for everything in their life. I am sort of a geek and would like to find someone who enjoys things like video games, anime, or science fiction. Since I am a very affectionate man I am looking for someone who loves to give and receive affection (that doesn't mean just sex, I am talking about hugging, holding hands, snuggling, and kissing). I feel that affection is one of the best ways of expressing love for someone and that without it a relationship will crumble. I support people in their decisions and endeavors and want someone who can do the same for me. I have a dog and a cat so I am looking for someone who loves animals as much as I do.
