Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I came here because the area I live in has nothing but bars. Yay lower Alabama. And the kind of person I want to meet simply doesn't hang out in bars usually.
The only other place to meet people is church in this area. And I am christian, but I have seen so many churches that had political leanings that leave a bad taste in my mouth. They are far, FAR, too closed minded for me.
I am very liberal minded. Live and let live is my general philosophy. I cannot STAND bigotry, sexism, or racism. I'm all for disliking someone with good reason, but disliking someone on the outset for some other reason is stupid.
I can be a bit geeky/nerdy. But that is to be expected given that I make my living in Technology.
Most people don't notice but I'm fairly sensitive. I just hardly show it. I'm a tall large male and therefore society expects me to keep a stiff upper lip. Which I do the majority of the time. I don't even do it consciously anymore. This is why a lot of the time people think I'm angry. I keep an impassive face, coupled with my size, it makes me look like an angry bouncer. Which is not me at all.
I absolutely LOVE to Laugh! I love watching and listening to comedians of all caliber. I have a quirky sense of humor. Having said that I know full well when to be more selective in my joking.
I enjoy most all kinds of music and movies to some degree or another.
