Date men and women from Alabama, United States. Time to shake things up: Last August, I sold most of my personal belongings, loaded up my two big dogs, and traveled west from Iowa to California. At this juncture of my life, I felt that if I didn't go out and experience life somewhere other than the Midwest, it would never happen. It was hard to leave my comfort zone: the security of a job I had for 15 years, my wonderful family and close friends--but I needed to broaden my horizons and try something new. The change has been empowering and I have no regrets!
