Having a bit of wanderlust, occasional travel is a cherished part of life and usually includes bodies of water or photography. This year's longest trip, Peru - volunteering for a jaguar research project in the Amazon and then maybe the Pantanal. I like always having another adventure, large or small, on the horizon. In spite of this, my back yard is probably my favorite place and The Orchard Nursery my favorite store. (Bullseye's finally here so that could be a dangerous change in preference).
An engineering career funds the fun stuff and keeps me comfortably afloat.
Other things I like to do, especially in the company of someone special: hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring local outdoor areas. Experimenting in art glass creation and riding - the giddy-up kind, not motorcycles - are more recent interests.
Experiencing new things are fun but just relaxing with a book, escaping into the tube, or playing with food in the kitchen can be just as enjoyable in good company.
