Meet people from Evergreen, United States. It would be far too easy to take the traditional path and describe myself in terms of what I do for a living, what activities I enjoy, or to take the materialistic low road and talk about what I own. But that’s not me. I believe that who I am is most important, and I consider myself fortunate in that I am passionate about what I do, which has in turn resulted in personal and professional success. To me, relationships are more important than things. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy nice stuff – I do. But relationships come before the “stuff” – that’s how I am, that’s the way I’ll always be.
Having said that, who am I? Well, I’ll describe myself as my closest friends might:
I’m positive and upbeat. I’m fortunate to have lived my dream of starting and successfully growing a company, and the most joy I derived from that was seeing and bringing out the best in people. I pride myself on my ability to relate to people from all walks of life. I can be direct and am not afraid of confrontation, but I also like to think I’m tactful.
I’m trusting and trustworthy (it's hard to be one without the other, if you think about it). I’ve been told I’m trusting to a fault, and on occasion I’ve been disappointed or even deeply hurt. Know what? There’s no way I’m ever going to change. I’d rather be disappointed once in a while than cynical, and continue to believe that most people are genuinely good at heart.
I’m open, honest and genuine. With me, what you see is pretty much what you get. I have worked a long time on my spiritual and personal self-development, and am therefore emotionally mature and self-aware. I know myself, and as such am confident and secure in who I am, yet also easygoing and flexible.
I have a sense of humor, occasionally a bit corny (my son calls me The Assassin, because he thinks I'm a pro at killing a joke). I am fun loving, playful and youthful. My kids gave me a treasured photo of themselves in a “Best Dad” frame for my desk – and I'm happy to know that’s true about me. Fatherhood is one of my life's greatest joys.
I’m pretty outgoing, enough so that once people get to know me they find it laughable that I’m often shy when it comes to meeting new people, particularly attractive women. Once you get to know me though, you’ll find I’m romantic, affectionate, sensitive and caring. Better yet, I’m committed and loyal, and am disappointed that our society no longer seems to value those characteristics.
Date a soulmate from Evergreen, United States. If today was my last day on earth, I would be very content. Father of four wonderful and amazing kids, physically/mentally and spiritually whole and looking for the next adventure. I still would read Thomas Merton with a cup of tea, walked the dog and called my mom and dad... and of course enjoyed some tulips.

Date single man from Evergreen, United States. I am an eternally optimistic, creative man with a giving attitude. When I commit to something I tend to stick with it and follow through. I am easy going and interested in trying new things and sharing someone else's joy.
I grew up in a small town in Ohio and went to college nearby in Indiana. I worked my way through school working full time for most of it. It took me 8 years to complete my four year bachelor’s degree but I never quit. I didn't get married the first time until after 30 and became a grandpa at 52. I have been to 35 of the 50 states and traveled to China, Russia, and Israel. I enjoyed them all and hope to get many more places in the future. The last five years my life has changed a lot. I divorced from my marriage of almost 20 years, lost my job of 23 years, as well as my father and only brother. But, I also gained two grandchildren, managed to keep my home in Evergreen, and continue to be excited and hopeful for the future.
I am looking for a partner who loves to spend time together and share our interests, but also has her own mind with desires and opinions of her own. I believe a healthy long term relationship requires a certain amount of separate time and activities. I want a woman who can take care of herself but also loves it when I take care of her.
I am very outgoing and adventurous, but I can be quite happy just sitting at home and snuggling with that special someone. Is it possible that “Stan the Man” is your man? If you think you might like to explore our possibilities together, send me an email.
