I want to share a poem with you that I wrote once to share with my Internet friends (Asian and overseas). I was in a goofy mood that night, and wrote it on the spur of the moment. I have written many poems, and two books; writing is often spontaneous. It just comes out of your pen onto the paper. It’s like magic!

Sunny Days and Figgy Foggy Nights
I was born to see dragons with their fire and flame
And to see soft flowers in the morning due
To read cartoons and laugh the day wholeheartedly away
To drift in fantasy and feel so fantastically
To walk boldly barefoot in the park and tip-toe through the tulips
I was born to see hobgoblins in their lavish lair
And to pretend I’m so debonair
To chase moonbeams and catch a few
To see raindrops falling softly on life’s rafters
To not fear loneliness taking in all life’s laughter’s
I was born to feel Mother Earth’s soil flowing through my fingers
