A little about me... I am 5'5" on most days because I wear heels to work. And out to dinner. Sometimes even while sleeping. My newest hobby is cycling, but I am far from entering the Tour de France. Turned out that changing from a mountain bike to an actual road bike made all the difference in the world from a speed standpoint, but there are still kids with training wheels passing me by on Grants Mill. Not many people know this, but astronomy fascinates me. It has since I was a kid. I even have one of those star chart things and have been known to head out to a dark, open field for a meteor shower on occasion.

I love Birmingham to the point of snobbery. I realize it has its flaws, but I want to help (especially when "help" involves parties, galas, and silent auctions--I have few practical skills). All to say, I'm pretty serious about the 20-mile radius. Also, my parents live in town and we have a family lunch once a week. Heck, we take a family vacation every year. Not that they are privy to every detail of my life, but they're going to have to like you and you should at least be able to fake liking them. And, I'm really close to my friends. I had my best friend write most of this. The only things she got wrong were my height in heels and that my family meal is lunch, not dinner. I am good hearted, happy go lucky, child at heart, but don't worry I am still responsible, mature, brutally honest, and independent by the forces called Adulthood. I tend to get really shy around men that I am attracted too. Which is far from how I am normally....sad I know but who isn't nervous around the opposite sex? I come from a very large family and loves getting together for game nights and parties. I consider myself to be a girly girl most of the time but during football season I am a straight tomboy! I have wide range of friends that live all over the country. I love it because it just gives me a reason to take a trip. I love getting my friends over and grilling out or cooking. They say I can cook and I am pretty convinced they are right because every time I cook my friends swarm my house to eat.
Some things that I like to do is to dance, yes big girls can dance, swimming, and to enjoy life. My ultimate thing to do is to travel. So far, I have lived in Rhode Island, Arizona, California, Alabama and my next adventure will be The Big Easy. I really enjoy traveling to any area that has a Beach, Lake, and or water park. I love just hearing the waves crash on land. I am also really into comedies, action, and animated cartoons.
