Whereas some people maybe apprehensive when they enter a room full of strangers, I feel like I'm entering a room full of future friends, and to me it's important to be with someone who can open up and have a good time with people from all walks of life and all cultures. Also, being an animal lover is pretty important to me too. From what I've seen in my years of clinical experience is that the way people treat their animals is typically the way they also treat the people close to them.
