Date single man from Colorado, United States. I am not real good at this but here it goes. First, a little about me. I lived in Winter Park for the past ten years. I loved living in a ski town where you know that you have something in common with everybody else in town, your passion for being on the mountain. I was a snowboard bum and managed a ski shop for many years before I was finally forced to get a real job building houses. Turns out that having a little money is a necessity! I enjoyed both the ski/snowboard industry and house building. I learned a lot doing both. I eventually would like to make my profession within the snowsports industry. I have been out of the mountains and in Denver for almost a year now and would someday, in the hopefully not so distant future, like to get back to the mountains somewhere. I miss getting 100 days in on the mountain a year! It would be much nicer however to share the experience with someone. I am a Colorado native and the one thing that I do enjoy about being back in the city is the music scene. I love being close to Red Rocks! I love summertime shows!
Most of my family lives in Colorado and I am very close to them. I am one of the few, or so it seems, where my parents are still happily married after 40 years! I am the oldest of three, I have a brother and a sister, both of which are married with children. I am excited to say that I have two young nieces and two nephews. My brother and his wife live in L.A. so I do not get to see them or their kids as much as I would like to. I believe that I am a kind, laid-back and sometimes intelligent person. I try to treat everyone with the same respect that I like to be treated with. Enough with the boring details about me.
My ideal woman would be one that is caring and understanding. One that is sometimes spontaneous and willing to try something different. A woman who is not afraid of a road trip and enjoys being on the mountain in the winter and summer. One who prefers a local bar with a patio to a club. I am not a huge sports fan but I would like to find a woman who likes going to an occasional baseball and football game.
