Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Eagle, 37 year old

Date a man from Colorado, United States. If you choose to partake in recreational drugs or "medicine", I'm not your guy. This may not be the typical way to start this but I want to get it out first and foremost.
I've lived in Eagle County for going on 10 years and have spent exactly ZERO seconds on the mountain. Skiing or boarding do look like they could be a lot of fun. I didn't grow up skiing and have known since I was 16 that I will need new knees someday. I don't care to expedite the process.
I'm considering moving to the metro area. Since I'm mildly responsible I'm going to have a job before I move.
I live for the summer or warm weather months. I love riding my motorcycle, I don't think there is a better way to take in all the beauty and smells. I've recently gotten a bigger bike and can't wait to rack up some miles. Mesa Verde and Sante Fe are two places I've never been but can't wait to visit.
I've only got limited experience hiking and tent camping. I've done a little and do enjoy hiking (3-4 hour). I've had only bad experiences with high mountain camping. The last time I was ill prepared and spent the night wet and shivering. Luckily the folks I was staying with had a dog who curled up next to me so I could stay a little warm.
I don't currently have a dog but would love one. I had an American Bull Dog but wasn't able to properly take care of her. I would leave for the day early and not get home until late. As much as I loved having her I felt it selfish. She is a great dog who just wanted to run and play. My work prevented me from giving her that life. So I did the responsible thing and adopted her out to a good family. Being responsible sucks because I miss my dog, but I know she's in a good home with lots of love.
I'm looking for someone whose honest. I don't do drama or play games, unless you've got a PS3. You've also got to have a sense of humor. Laughter is what gets me through the day, it's a great stress release. I'm not afraid to laugh at myself or admit I was wrong. When I do or say something dumb I'll own it. Own it, laugh and move on. If it's something really, good be prepared laugh at it again.
When I'm doing something, I'm focussed and intense, I do whatever it is with passion and enthusiasm. There have been many a person who confused this focus and intensity with being scary. Then when I sit down and chat with them I hear "wow your not as scary as I thought". This makes me laugh because I don't see myself as a scary person. One time I asked a someone why she thought I was scary. She told me because she always see's me in a local bar/coffee shop drinking a coffee. I'll sit where I can see a majority of the room and either watch the crowd and reading a book. I had to laugh because I don't understand how reading a book on a Friday or Saturday night while drinking coffee is "scary".
Those that know me laugh at the idea people view me as "scary". They enjoy give me hell about being a teddy bear.
I've been told I should be a stand up comedian. But have never tried it. In addition to humor I'm also a master of sarcasm. I still watch and laugh at the classics like 3 Stooges, Little Rascals, Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello Honeymooners, Benny Hill and All in the Family.
I don't believe in "traditional" gender roles. Traditions can be cool and fun. However there is nothing saying that we can't start new ones. I think people should share in responsibilities around the house and in life.

Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Im not much for dramas. Kind of a home body. content renting a movie and ordering pizza. I enjoy all things outside, camping under the stars. Looking forward to the future and enjoying today. Looking for a fun woman to be with.
