Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Wheat Ridge, 37 year old

Date men and women from Wheat Ridge, United States. I like conversation, anything that makes me laugh and trying just about anything and everything. I'm looking for someone who likes the same. Oh, yeah, and I also love puppies.
I spent a decade teaching in inner-city schools, but now I'm an attorney in business for myself. Professionally, I can't imagine anything better than having the freedom of working for myself, except being a professional basketball coach. For some reason, though, the Nuggets refuse to hire me.
I'm a very passionate traveler who has visited 30 countries. I want to see as many places in the world as possible. I love trying anything new and am always trying to learn in life. I'm attracted to people who are the same way. I have a sense of humor that finds humor in everything; it's absolutely impossible to offend me. Larry David and Rodney Dangerfield are my comic heroes. I run my mouth quite a bit, and, actually, I like women who do the same. Strong women are the best kind. To me, the most appealing women are those who speak their minds and have opinions. I'm 37 and would like to get married at some point, so casual dating doesn't really appeal to me.
Appreciating a Radiohead song, Gothic architecture, traveling and a fine tiramisu are essential. So is a fondness for "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."
My guiding quote: "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." -- Brooke Shields. Truer words were never spoken.

Meet single man from Wheat Ridge, United States. It seems weird to thinking of summer so much lately being that we haven't really had much of a winter, but this ridiculously warm weather has been amazing! All of a sudden it's as if we skipped the last part of winter straight into June and everyone is hanging out at the park, hitting the patios for happy hour after work, showing up with sun burnt faces at the office on Mondays and going to the pool on the weekends! Well, maybe not so much of that last one, but it can't be too far away at this rate.
As you may have guessed, all of those things I mentioned above are things that I love to do regularly (except for maybe the sun burn). I love spending time up in the mountains and actually think the getting there can be as much fun, sometimes, as the time spent there. I mean, there are so many out of the way places here accessed by only remote roads that once you get out there, windows down and music playing, sun in your face, you really and truly feel like you've left everything behind for a little while.
A few of my idiosyncrasies that come to mind:
I enjoy traveling or staying in town. I love to read but think TV is awesome (movies, too). Winter is my favorite but I have a soft spot for summer, too. I grew up in the mountains skiing, though I rarely go anymore (but I can hot tub with a beer like nobody else!)
At the end of the day I hope that I can meet someone that shares some of my interests, but has many of her own to show me. Someone who enjoys spending time with friends as easily as a weekend to ourselves. Someone who wants to go places and try new things but also realizes that, yes, sometimes a "Mad Men" marathon is on TV and my brain ceases to work and next thing you know we've watched 5 or 6 episodes in a row. Someone who loves a good road trip that starts out with no specific destination but ends up being a weekend you'll never forget.
It's worth a shot, right?

Date people from Wheat Ridge, United States. A wise mam once told me, (actually it was a teenage kid) "All you need in life is a house, a dog, a woman, and a boat. I now have everything checked off but a woman, so here I am. I am a Pretty simple guy. I rarely watch television, or go out to the bar. I spend most of my free time on the water kayaking, or working on my boats ( I build my own). Although lately I have been spending most of my time working on my new house.I grew up on a snowboard, but recently switched over to telemark skiing. I love music, and try not to watch too much TV. But I am a Simpsons junkie. I spend alot of time in the summer away from home for races, giving lessons, and just relaxing river trips. Would be nice to meet someone to join me, maybe with some Photography skills?? I am looking for someone pretty laid back who isn't too concerned with shopping and dancing. I know girls have to be girls sometimes, I have dated a few princesses and would like to stop that. I love to travel, and avoid Mexican prisons. Spending time in the mountains is important to me. Nature lovers are most welcome. but I do not feel that you have to have the same goals as I do (very undefined, if any) to be a good match. Who knows, Chemestry is something that nobody can ever figure out, that is why not everyone signs up for this crap.
