I tend to attract a lot of attention when I go out BUT the kicker is I don't attract the kind of guy I want or see myself with for long term. Trying to date someone I meet now in social mixers, bars, clubs, etc is self defeating so I don't do it. I meet people, it stays extremely superficial or it's more 'networking,' and then I go home. I just think that life is too short and precious to spend alone. However, I know I do 'alone' quite well. I am completely self sufficient and independent, I run my own online business, and my non profit which I am president of. I also have a law background.

I'm a total Jesus lover- my Grandmother was one of the very first WOMAN Methodist pastors to ever come out of South Korea so the faith runs deep in my blood. I have a wonderful set of very loving parents. They never quite assimilated so I speak Korean to them. I'm also a big animal lover- my pets are my 'kids.' And whether it's good or bad, I also know I can be pretty high maintenance... I expect a lot of attention from my special guy (as I give it right back). But I don't ask that you spend needless money on me- that's not what I mean. I just know that I have a very strong personality, I am considered attractive and I have high expectations- so it takes a very secure special guy to accept these qualities in me. BUT, I have the capacity to love like nobody's business! ;)
Although I am NOT an outdoorsy kind of girl, I love the gym. I work out diligently- I run approximately 16-20 miles per week on top of the swimming, cycling, light weights, and yoga classes etc.
I want someone who can stand on his own two feet and is secure in himself. Also if you're ONLY about attaining money/career and don't have the time/energy to pursue a real relationship- please save us both the time... Date a woman from United States. About me...born and raised in the bay area, but I'm a traveler at heart. I visited many places throughout the years while living as a snowboard bum in Colorado (love that champagne powder). After some time, I decided to go for an adventure of a different kind: taking my interest in and compassion towards people to a professional level. I've been working towards becoming licensed therapist the last few years. I'm fascinated by what makes people tick and like to try to help them through their struggles. It's not all seriousness with me though, I have been known to make and appreciate very stupid puns, bust out with tons of 80's references and laugh pretty easily. I mean, who doesn't appreciate a good Anchorman reference?
I'm happy relaxing or getting out there to try something new. Reading books, watching NFL on Sundays, cheesy TV, going to movies are all simple things I enjoy. There is never enough time to fill up my desire to go snowboarding, hiking, camping, happy hours, getting to know the nooks and crannies of the city, bay and beyond. I love a great meal; from tasty salads, avocado on just about everything, seared ahi tuna to tasty bacon blue cheese burgers, I get a lot of joy out of good food. (And even more so when I share it with someone). I love breweries, movies, little coffee shops and bars with character.
I'm looking for someone who is going to make me laugh. Sharing an interest in creating new and lasting adventures together is important. Meet a soulmate from United States. I tend to be very passionate about a lot of my life. I have many interests, yet still enjoy trying new things and listening to other people's experiences. I don't understand people who get bored, there's way too much to fit into our short lives. That said, I do like spending time relaxing around the house and recuperating. I'm outgoing and love spending time around others. So I'm often the organiser in any given group of friends.
I love snowboarding and am a fan of winter. I've just moved from Australia and am very disappointed to have TWO summers in a row!
I grew up in Melbourne, Australia and think I'm a Melburnian through and through. I guess that may not mean much to many Americans, but basically it means I love food, going out, cultural/arty type things, one particular horse race and more. I'm enjoying exploring SF since I think it has a similar culture to Melbourne.

Date someone special from California, United States. When I am backing up my car to park, I stick out my tongue (think Charlie Brown concentrating really hard... yeah, that face!)...and try to figure out how the hill parking in San Francisco works.
If am not trying to park, I am all out and about exploring San Francisco and California. I just moved here from Europe and I am European by heart, but I just fall in love with the city/area. After 6 months in the Bay area, I still feel I have only discovered a tiny part of it. Thus I am still out and about exploring. Any "must see" recos are welcome.
Do you know the book "1,000 places you must see before you die"? I am working on it. And I added a smaller list of "Live bands you must see before you are deaf or stiff". So far, I already ticked the box for a few (e.g. Coldplay, 3Doors Down, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Madonna, Depeche Mode, U2 (4 times), Snow Patrol, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Mando Diao ...) but still a lot to go. So if you think someone amazing is having a show you need to go to - let me know.
