I have never done anything like this before. The old fashioned way of meeting people seems to have fallen by the waste side. A friend told me about this site so here I am.
I don't have a problem getting approached by men, the problem is they are always the wrong kind (twice my age or half my age, clothes that don't fit). I have been told by normal men after they approached me and we chatted briefly that my exterior gave off a very different vibe from who I actually am. I don't scowl and I'm a pretty happy person, so go figure. I have also been told that I am mature for my age. Whatever that means. I can have fun doing just about anything as long as I am in good company. From hiking boot to stilettos and everything in between. I like doing things out of the norm and will try just about anything once. I love to read. I have the most fun when I am listening to live music, watching a play, ballet, a good chess match or playing dominoes and having a good cocktail with friends. And oh so much more. . .

Do I go on about how I am born and raised in the Bay Area? How I'm the youngest in my family? Or that I'm the best aunt to four of the coolest kids on the planet (or so they tell me!)?
Perhaps that I love to cook. I can speak a few languages - all romantic. I love going to the movies and sitting up close. I adore cartoons and all things Disney. I love watching sports - especially football and basketball and especially live. I manage fantasy teams. I read comics. I have Back to the Future and Ghostbusters nearly memorized. I am a geek. My life is nice if I were to take an outside look on it. I do feel that I'm missing one thing. Just the one thing, which is actually a big thing - maybe the most important: that special someone. Someone to laugh with, listen with, chill with, be with. I've never had much faith in finding this online. Or maybe I just didn't think I had too. But the universe does have it's own way of things.
