I do have children, four of them, and we are a package deal, even though only two are still at home. Friends first is a must! I do yoga occasionally and dance occasionally but haven't yet stuck to any sort of physical exercise routine with any regularity, but I do stay active. I enjoy watching ballroom dancing, ice skating, cheerleading competitions (especially the stunting portions!) and gymnastics, even though I have never learned to do any of it! :) I just love watching the grace and strength, the fluidity and technique of them all, but never have had the chance to learn how to do any of those things. Long conversations over coffe with good friends are wonderful. Picnics when it's pleasant outside are great too. Love horses, even though I don't ride well, and animals. I have pets, both cats and dogs. Love to cuddle in front of the TV and a nice fire in the wintertime, and love to be spontaneous. Would rather vacation in the mountains than on the beach, would love to travel to Europe and many other places in the world.
I am a baby when I am sick and want to be pampered and fussed over but still want to do for myself and I love to pamper the people I love when they are ill, and at any other time too. One of the joys in my life is taking care of the ones that I love.
I am not an angel and have made bad choices in my past but so have many people. I don't judge others by what they have done, only by who they are now, and expect the same treatment. None of us are who we were even 5 years ago, so why judge by what has gone before?
I am a very caring person. Comforting a friend or loved one is more important to me than a perfectly tidy house, and besides, I don't want to live in a showroom anyway. I want to be comfortable when I am home and want my friends and family to be comfortable in my home. I am who I am and if you can deal with that, then great! I would love to get to know you.

That is the biggest mistake you can ever make. I still believe that when true love comes across your path, you will know it. There is a feeling you get that only love can give you. You have butterflies when that person walks into the room or when that person calls, you become almost breathless. You can't wait to see each other, and everything they do becomes your number one concern. I love it when you are both in a store together and he comes up behind you and gently touches your hair while saying sweet nothings in your ear. You just want to show the whole world the person you are with. You are so proud to be with that person that the joy you have inside explodes. I am looking for that person. Someone who can bring out the best in me and vice versa. I want a man that does not tell lies even if he feels that a lie would protect me. I am not a member at this time, and therefore I can not read/write emails on here anymore however you CAN still reach me at my same name, ya yoo can. I need to do the "grown up" thing and concentrate on things I "have" to do, instead of "want" to do. For the rest of 2012 I will be working on my Ed.D. dissertation. My dissertation topic is on decision making, and for some reason, my friends and family find that humorous???? Maybe they know something that I don't? LOL
I have been very fortunate to have grown up as a "dependent" (NOT "brat"...that was my sister! lol j/k) of a USAF family, and got to see (if not live in) many of the States in our great country! Plus, years ago (wow, now that I think about it...it has been quite a few years!) my cousin and I "backpacked" through parts of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, and stayed in hostels. I would love to go back to Europe and see the parts I have missed. And I am definitely looking forward to more time to go on mission trips with my church. I have been totally blessed with the opportunity to go to Cuba six times (all legal, of course!) and miss my Cuban friends that work with us each time. Travel is a huge part of my dreams!
My next two areas of "education" (not necessarily formal school) that I want to pursue are Spanish (would be nice for those Cuba trips!) and my pilots license. Any teachers of either subject out there? First things first...I have to finish my current "project".

I love a smile. Looking for that someone that puts a smile on my face as I put a smile on their face. Someone to share life's journey with. I like to travel even if it is for a weekend trip.
