I like going to movies, although I feel that is not a good first date because for most of it you are not talking to each other. I enjoy action movies, car chases and explosions i.e. The Bourne Trilogy, The Avengers, Salt. I like comedies as well, more Three Stooges than How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I enjoy a good meal, not one at a chain restaurant, although they have some good dishes from time to time. The Pantry is a good place to eat as is Khalil's (formerly Julie's) and The House. I don't like nightclubs much but I do love a good band, Juanita's or the Rev Room have great atmospheres and Edgefest is always great.
Most of the time I am at home. I love to read (curled up with my cat), mainly classic novels and crime stories. I play in my flower beds and I enjoy sitting on my patio and grilling something delicious. Life is about finding the simple joys and reveling in the moments you get to share with those you care about. It doesn't matter where you are, as long as they are with you, you can have a good time.
A relationship cannot move forward if it does not have a good foundation. I want to be able to walk and hold your hand, put your arm around me and have you enjoy my company, as I enjoy yours.
