I was raised in central Texas, so I still have most of my southern sensibilities. I have lived in the Vaill valley for about 20 years. I have lost most of my Texas accent, but I wish I could get the Y'all back. I love the mountains for the scenery and the entertainment they provide, but I still need to hit Denver for the culture, restaurants and music.
I have recently purchased a 20 year old home and I am spending a lot of time and effort on home projects. I'm glad a have a construction back ground and a lot of friends in the trades. It seems like it will be years before all the projects are complete. Luckily there is no dead line.

I have been blessed with a lot, but I find value being silly, laughing at myself and not taking myself too seriously. Life has a way of teaching you lessons to keep you humble ;-). I have learned from a few of those - which is important. Ahh perspective. Easily, I am at my best when inspired by a fabulous woman!
I like building things, creating, innovating and I go for the brass ring in life. Which is to say that I dare to achieve - I don't want to look back and regret not having the guts to give my best efforts. It is a work in progress. I enjoy writing, journaling, poetry, short stories and started on a couple of novels that I will write a little further down the road!
I try to take care of myself and eat right - hey I had better look at least halfway decent for someone special! I have a big heart but also a wicked sense of humor. Happiness is important, a sense of fun, thought-provoking, competitive, playful. I'd rather play a game or go do something than watch TV.

Date a soulmate from United States. Ok, here goes. First of all I live by myself about 50% of the time, well actually that’s not true. I do have a full time cat/roommate named Bagel. What kind of person names their cat after a breakfast item anyway? The other 50% of the time my two youngest kids live with me. I have a 17 year old son, and 14 & 7 year old daughters. I pay my own rent, wear matching sock, most of the time, know how to operate an iron, keep the toilet seat down, and I love my mom. How cool is that?

So I have gotten to a point in my life, now at nearly 44, where I do my best to live fully in the present with no real regrets of my life. That being said, there is still so much I want to learn, be, and do that I’m very excited about what’s “Coming Soon” for me, and the best part is that I clearly see myself in an a relationship with an amazing woman with whom I can share in that experience.
Now for a bunch of random stuff about me:
-I’m a busy, focused professional (mostly), in a challenging sales and marketing job where I get to do what I do best; build relationships.
-Most of the time I don’t take myself to seriously. Most of the time you shouldn’t either.
-I believe very strongly in ongoing personal development and consider myself a work in progress.
-I’m always looking at ways to be a better father than the day before and want to help my kids grow into responsible, respectful, and self-aware adults who live lives of integrity based on solid life values.
-I believe that “Love Conquers All”, and that’s simply because I’m a hopeless romantic at heart.
-I believe that chivalry isn’t dead, or at least it shouldn’t be.
-I’m passionate about philanthropy and am always looking for ways where I can give of my time, money or talent.
-Music Interests: 80’s, Oldies, New Age, some Country. My favorite band is the Eagles
-Movies: Comedies, Sci-Fi, and all Disney & Pixar animated movies. My recent favorite is Warhorse.
-I’m 75% extrovert, and 25% introvert.
-I’m 50% planner, and 50% spontaneous.
- On a typical Friday night I’m either hanging out with my kids doing who knows what, or sitting on a patio enjoying Happy Hour and great conversation with some friends.
Things I intend on doing soon:
-Take a cooking class with my 14 year old daughter.
-Climb my first 14er. What kind of a Colorado Native am I anyway?
-Learn to salsa dance.
-Learn to play the guitar.
-Jump out of a perfectly good airplane again. And yes, I do use a parachute.
-Get a motorcycle license, and maybe a motorcycle to go with it.
-Travel to the Caribbean, again and again.
Here are some things that I could never live without:
-My kids.
-Meaningful friendships.
-Laughter/Comedy. I find humor in most things and laugh at myself frequently.
-Animals, especially my above mentioned roommate, Bagel.
-Great food and drinks, especially when enjoyed with others.
-Spooning (the hugging kind. I love to cuddle).
-Love making with that special someone, yet to be determined.
Now here are some things that could live without:
-Reality T.V., and most T.V. for that matter.
-Shallow, superficial, inward thinking people. You know the type.
-Traffic, but who wouldn’t say that.
-Seafood, with the exception of shrimp. Bang Bang Shrimp at the Bonefish Grill is awesome.
Things that interest me:
-Golf in the summertime
-Snowboarding in the wintertime
-Racquetball whenever
-Reading. I typically have 2 or 3 books going at one time.
-Personal development. I attend seminars frequently and read lots of book on the subject.
