Although I'm retired, I still perform investigations for the government and own a private investigation company. I'm well educated, and well traveled...tuxedo or t-shirt, I'm comfortable in both. However, still being a redneck, I prefer Levi's, cowboy hats and boots when I can; a suit and tux when must. I'm just a nice guy trying to meet a nice girl. If you say you want a gentleman with a sense of humour, please be sure you know what that means. I love to laugh and practice the art of chivalry. I'll stand when you stand, open your door, pull out your chair, give up my seat to women and the elderly, walk on the street side, and yes I will even help little old ladies cross the road and change their tires. However, please be advised, I have little allowance for physical or mental abuse, active alcoholism, infidelity, or illegal drug use. My ability to forgive eventually has it's limits. I love my children, and try to provide them with a decent moral compass. They are young (6,8 and 11) and we are a package deal.
On a personal note. I'm a believer in tolerance. It's the little irritating things about people that I find most endearing. The way you might leave a few squares on the toilet paper roll without replacing it. The way you might leave the hallway lights on and I'm constantly turning them off, or leaving your delicates on the bedroom floor, and innocently not knowing I'll place them in the hamper and love you oh that much more. Why? Because that's what will allow me to look at you across a crowded room smiling like a giddy school boy, and the only thing that you will know is that I love you for reasons unknown.
